Privacy Policy

This explains what the ASURAS & TIGERS Discord game (“the game”, “we”) keeps about you and what you can do about it. We do not sell your data, use it for ads, or use it to train AI.

1. What we keep

  • Discord IDs: your Discord user ID and the IDs of the servers and channels where you play. We never see your Discord email, password or private messages.
  • Game data: your characters, progress, items, settings and what you do in the game, with times.
  • Text you enter: names, such as character and Sect names, and in-game letters.
  • Votes: when you vote for the game on a bot list site, it tells us your Discord user ID and the time.
  • Purchases: what you bought and when. Payments are handled by Discord or another payment provider; we never get your card details.
  • Error reports: what broke and when, so we can fix it.

The bot reads message text only in vote channels a server sets up, where vote sites post notices. It ignores all other messages.

2. Why

To run the game and save your progress, give rewards and purchases, send DM reminders you turn on, fix bugs, balance the game, and keep it fair. Automated checks look for cheating; a person reviews anything flagged before taking action.

3. Who else handles it

Discord (where the game runs), DigitalOcean (our server, in Canada), Cloudflare (our website), and any vote site or payment provider you choose to use. Backups are also kept in the United States. Other players can see what the game shows publicly, such as character names, rankings and Sects. We share data with authorities only if the law requires it.

4. How long

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete Account) removes it, except a few records that stop rewards being claimed twice, purchase records we must keep for tax, and older server backups, which are used only to recover from a failure.

5. Your choices

You can delete your account in the game at any time. You can also email us to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it; we reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we will honour them.

6. Children

The game is not for children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 is playing, we will delete their account.

7. Website

Our website sets no cookies and uses no tracking. Cloudflare handles visits to deliver the pages and block attacks.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. We will announce big changes in the game.
